I got two piercings at Bury Me In Gold's Seattle location last December. The studio felt professional, and I liked their dainty jewelry selection, though the experience was definitely on the expensive side. A few months later, I returned to downsize the backings as the piercings were healing. Thea absolutely saved me! I was sold too small of bars from another shop, and Thea had to stretch and what essentially felt like re-pierce my nipples. Sharing this to say they made a brutal experience manageable by being so skilled, reassuring, and sweet during it all. Can’t wait to get more intentional piercings from Thea next time!

My piercing didn’t heal as well as expected, likely due to the wrong jewelry being used. They were kind enough to offer to re-pierce it and were helpful throughout, but after the healing time I’ve already gone through it felt too invasive. Still, I appreciated their support. Would go back again with more research being done on whatever I wanted pierced.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Mateo did my piercing and he was so careful to answer my long list of questions, to accommodate me, and to explain everything in detail which was so helpful for my anxiety. The people at the front desk are so kind and welcoming as well. Definitely pricey but they are very transparent about that. 100% worth it :)

Best piercing shop I’ve ever been to, easily, hands down. The environment right when you walk in is warm and friendly and inviting. The jewelry is expensive but beautiful and good quality. The piercings themselves were less expensive. Shay was amazing!! I was scared to pierce my nipples, and they made the experience so comfortable and so easy.
