He couldn't do the job I needed done
On one of the worst days of my adult life, getting locked out of my house was a footnote to the catastrophe. I had to climb in through a window, only to realize that I had left the back door wide open, anyway. I was several crayons short of a box at that point. I just needed to be able to control one thing, and being able to go to Burt's and get two new house keys made genuinely helped me collect my few remaining braincells and move forward.
