Dr Berkson’s clinic demonstrates how all practices should function. Everyone, from office staff, medical assistants, IV nurses to the doctor all treat the patient with caring kindness and patience. I appreciate this very much. If you find yourself in need of the care these good people provide you will be in very good hands here.
Dr. Burton Berkson offers thorough, thoughtful care. He does an unusually detailed intake, and orders lab work which is top tier. Dr. Berkson is exceptional in the way he considers the whole patient, and thus makes recommendations which enhance the quality of life. I am most fortunate to be a patient here and will continue to travel from Central Texas for his care.
I went to this clinic in 2018 and met with the founder who I knew from reading about his work with very ill patients. He is an MD and Ph.D who started this clinic with his son, an excellent MD whose patient list also is full. I was so glad I went. I have a serious autoimmune disease. The workup ordered for me was very complete, with a detailed discussion of results. I received 2 weeks of infusions and went into remission for a goodly time. Dr. Burt Berkson MD helped stop progress of my two serious autoimmune diseases. He explained his approach to getting my body to heal itself and I had 2 weeks of treatment onsite, at reasonable cost for quality care. His caring nurses are amazing, efficiently administering to each patient (some recovering from Stage IV cancers and moving off transplant lists). I will never forget what they did for me. I'm giving the Berkson book to everybody. His MD son also is extremely good.
