This little gem is tucked away in a quiet little area between Munising and Manistique. It’s a page out of history in the best ways possible. Its vintage vibes and nostalgic feel makes you feel like you have stepped back into a simpler time. Our little cabin nestled among the pines was equipped with all of the necessities. Awesome place. I’ve been going here for over 30years. Our kids grew up going here every year and still go as adults. It has grown so much with other friends and family we rent most of the cabins for a week. Very quiet, beautiful and RELAXING! It is also only 30 minutes to numerous sights and local shopping.
My family has been going to Delta resort for over 20 years every June. My children learned to fish, ride bikes and drive in the beautiful forest. The owners, Ted and Louise are so welcoming and every Wednesday evening there is a weenie roast with the owners, guests and friends. We always stay 1 week, but hope to increase our visits. Very affordable, lots to sightsee or relax and read a book or fish on the lake. We have introduced many friends and family and we usually fill all the cabins when we go.
Burson's Delta Resort is hands-down one of the most peaceful and authentic getaways we have ever experienced. Each day feels like stepping back in time—in the best possible way. The most peaceful vacations we have ever had! Our family has had the pleasure of staying in 4 of their cabins over the years (big to little depending on number of people coming). All of them have been clean and well furnished, rustic but quaint with great access to a semi-private lake smack dab in the middle of the forest. And we cannot say enough about the hosts! The Burson’s are absolutely wonderful folks! Can’t wait until our next visit.
