Such a wonderful spot! We loved looking out over the water each morning from our deck as we ate the delicious complimentary breakfast. The room was beautifully designed and was very well equipped with everything you might need. The bikes were a bonus, and it was a quick ride to the downtown area with the shops, lighthouse, and boardwalk. We felt genuinely welcomed upon our arrival, and the service was great. We definitely plan to return!
They say you get what you pay for, and that is absolutely true for the Burrus House Inn. We had a fantastic stay, and the staff could not have been more helpful. The location is fantastic, less than one mile from the quaint downtown. Our decks, yes decks, overlooked the water; sitting on the deck with our coffee and breakfast made us feel like we were in a Hallmark movie setting, or perhaps Cabbott Cove, from Murder She Wrote. Second time staying at The Burrus House. Wonderful experience again. Large spacious rooms, very clean and well equipped. Views are beautiful. Nice quiet area. Walkable to town. Attention to detail is obvious. Will definitely return.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I can't truly convey how lovely it is. The inn itself is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful views everywhere. The room we stayed in was stunning, and bed so comfortable. But it's the people that make it truly special. They couldn't be more accommodating and they go above and beyond to make your stay memorable.
