I walked passed a man when I was there in 1984 that was named bob and he had a wife beater singlet on with his name printed on the back. As I walked passed he let out a massive ripper. One for the books. Best time of my life
The place is a must visit stop off, next time we will stay overnight. Carol is an absolute gem, we were made to feel so welcome, had an absolute blast playing pool and on the jukebox. Great beer on tap and lots of options in the fridge. Gotta come back for the Sunday roast. This place is a historical treasure. Never been to a pub like it
Always a welcoming atmosphere, good prices, and would recommend to anyone heading out that way
