Burra is one of my favourite SA towns and I have travelled through here by car, by motorcycle and by foot. This was my first visit to the Burra Motor Inn. The booking and check in process was easy, with the rooms open and ready without the need for reception. The rooms are very clean, well appointed and comfortable. The fittings and fixtures are older in style, but well maintained. The room I had was very large and had a lovely view out on to the river. Great for couples, stayed for one night, but lot's of character in a lovely town
We booked our room prior to arrival, in preparation to a late arrival. We were thrilled when entering our hotel room, to be greeted with the airconditioned on warm, the spacious room, and a great view of the gardens and the friendly ducks. A nice touch was the electric blanket on our bed.
Great price and location. Heating was poor
