Update: I’ve been having a hard time lately, because I never got the birth I wanted. Yes, I was one of those rare cases who had an emergency and EMS had to be called and I was taken to the hospital. My experience at BRBC was nothing short of amazing! Every midwife I met during my pregnancy was so kind, supportive, and truly made me feel seen and heard. I always left my appointments feeling confident and cared for. And Madeline? She was a total gem! Her joyful energy was contagious — she made every visit feel like a mini celebration. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at Burr Ridge Birth Center. The birth of my son was absolutely beautiful, and the care and support I received throughout the entire journey—from prenatal appointments and educational classes to the birth itself—was nothing short of amazing. BRBC allowed me to have the birth of my dreams! The midwives, nurses, and other staff are phenomenal. The facility is clean, safe, and welcoming. The midwives are respectful in a way that I had not experienced with many OBs and they always took the time to help me make informed decisions about my pregnancy and my baby. I will honestly remember and cherish my experience there for the rest of my life. If you want a physiological birth, this is your sign to do it at BRBC!
