I really can’t put into words what my experience was at the Birth Center because it was beyond what I could have expected! The staff is very knowledgeable and gave me si much peace during my pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. The classes they offer help us equip our journey with super valuable information! My first delivery was in a hospital setting and wanted to try something different. From the first tour visit to now my final postpartum appointment, I can’t thank them enough! 💕
“I’m sorry I have bad news for you. We are having issues with our insurance company and are unable to have any births at the birth center this weekend” - what I was told the day I went into labor and contacted BRBC to let them know I was having contractions. NICE PEOPLE HOWEVER ITS BEEN A YEAR TRYING TO GET MY REFUND BACK FROM THEM EVER SINCE I WAS DISMISSED FOR HAVING HBP BUT THE FUNNY THING IS THE HOSPITAL THEY SENT ME TO TOLD ME I WAS NOT. HAD MY BABY NATURALLY WITHIN 5 MINUTES OF MAKING IT TO THE HOSPITAL. HONESTLY COULD OF JUST HAD THE BABY AT HOME. I WOULD APPRECIATE WHOEVER IS IN CHARGE OF REFUNDS TO MAKE THIS RIGHT BECUSE THEY DONT ANSWER EMAILS AND APPARENTLY DONT HAVE A PHONE
This place is a complete scam when it comes to the financial department. They will not give a refund back and absolutely refuse to answer the phone. The midwife’s are good, but the entire experience is dragged down by the financial department. I urge anyone interested in this facility to look elsewhere unless you’re okay with being robbed.
Avoid at all costs!! Literally!! This business is unfortunately taking financial advantage of vulnerable people. Hope and pray your birth experience goes as planned. If it does, I’m sure this is a great option. However, if it doesn’t (and birth has a way of being unpredictable) they will try to keep your thousands of dollars paid for the birthing suite.
