I stayed here for Valentine’s Day in the lodge and had fun! We came back for my boyfriends birthday weekend and unfortunately stayed in the cabin which would’ve been perfect but as we settled into the cabin I noticed that the windows were all covered in cob webs, spiders were in literally every corner of every room and there was mold on the ceiling of the shower. Horrible customer service. They double booked the meeting space and it took them 8 months to notice the issue. I was signed into a contract and they tried to offer me a smaller space that would not accommodate my group or to go to a different State Park with no discount offered. When I went to meet with the GM to see the different space options she had me waiting for 20 minutes even though we had scheduled a meeting time. STAY AWAY FROM THE RESTAURANT!!! We didn't stay at the lodge, we stayed at one of the pet-friendly cabins. My 1 star is for the restaurant specifically and the confusion of the lodge itself. My family and I stayed for a weekend to visit with my father who lives close by so we attempted to eat breakfast at the lodge which is not included in the stay. We arrived at the restaurant about an hour before they were to switch over to lunchtime and our server was young and uneducated on their breakfast menu. We gave him grace on that... read more
