I didn't even get past the initial phone call. I checked on health engine for an appointment and this practice had like 20 appointments free when every other clinic was fully booked, it said not taking new patients so I called. and I must say Ive never had to agree to so many terms and conditions just to get a doctors appointment. the doctor wont see you if you have pain, if you need work cover, if you've howled at the moon before. I had a very disappointing experience with Dr Sofia Ali. She came across as rude, dismissive, and uninterested throughout my appointment. It genuinely felt like she couldn’t be bothered and didn’t want to be there. I felt rushed, my concerns weren’t taken seriously, and I didn’t feel listened to or respected. A healthcare professional should make patients feel heard, comfortable, and cared for, but unfortunately that wasn’t my experience. I left feeling unheard and would not recommend her based on how I was treated.
I just had the worst ‘doctor’ of my life try and tell me in a confronting way that I don’t need a blood test to check my hormone levels because I’m a 30yr old male. We need this person seriously investigated on whether they are qualified in treating people. I would say unbelievable, but it just happened. Receptionist was lovely.
