Five stars all the way for Burnt Timber Tavern. My wife and I stopped in after walking the rail trail while visiting Wolfeboro for the holiday weekend, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. It was nearly 100 degrees that day, and after a long 40-minute walk with our dog, Burnt Timber was exactly what we needed. The summer of 2026 I stopped at Burnt Timber Brewing while in Laconia, NH. I was told here that they were the last brewery in the area. The brewery equipment was in the basement. There is a decent selection of beers 🍻. More than enough to keep the palette quenched. I had a cheese burger 🍔 with my beverage and the two went perfectly together. I would stop again on my way thru since I fancy breweries.
If you're a local and have been here multiple times you may know the lay of the land. We (vacationers) did not. We walked in and asked if we could sit outside. The lady said yes so we went outside. There were no chairs for the high tables. We went inside and sat at a bar on the right side of the establishment. We were not greeted to, we weren't asked about anything.
