"I chose this place because of the positive Google reviews, but it turned out to be a life-long regret. I came in politely for a repair, yet I was treated with zero respect and unprofessionalism despite doing nothing wrong. One staff member told me to wait for an inspection, but then another staff suddenly started yelling for no reason without explaining what was happening. It was incredibly unprofessional. Update: The engine that was improperly installed by Burnt Rubber has catastrophically failed and been replaced by yet another new engine. The failure was due to several bent push rods, and burnt valves. The leading theory is that the pinging, combined with high combustion temperatures caused valves to stick and ultimately fail. My family and I have used the same Garage for years, but due to health reasons they are no longer in business. I typically don't leave reviews, but the service I received at Burnt Rubber Garage earned it. After I dropped my car off, Dave was very quick getting back to me about what needed to be repaired and they were able to complete everything in one day.They even fixed a piece of my trim that was loose that I didn’t mention. I called Dave with a tricky problem on my German import, and he got me in the next morning. He had the problem figured out within hours, explained things to me and provided a fair estimate to make the repairs, and, upon my approval, had the car fixed the next day. Excellent service at a fair price. I’m very satisfied with the repair. I recommend this shop!
Dave and the team are absolutely top notch. I had my '79 Corvette taken there for a full engine-out rebuild. I know classic car guys are always worried about who's working on their cars, but I'm telling you, have complete faith in Burnt Rubber Garage.
