A sunny spring day. April 20. Hiked from the trailhead to Honey Creek by the shetowee trail, then back by the gravel road, and finally took the Burnt mill bridge loop trail back to parking. A eight shaped loop. 12 miles in 4 hours. The spring flower is in full bloom, especially at the sections near the River. Saw several groups backpack camping along the trail. Burnt mill loop trail is highly recommended. Many River access points, if you want to take a water splash.
