The service department at Burns Hyundai has been extraordinarily disappointing. I have been attempting to resolve a repair issue for nearly a year. I brought my Palisade in because the sunroof was leaking so severely that water was pouring into the vehicle, including onto the shifter and surrounding controls. During my visit, the service associate assigned to me behaved unprofessionally—snapping gum, sitting with her legs up on the chair, and displaying a generally dismissive attitude. 2013 sonnota. They've been good with recall and warrenty work before. The transmission temp sensor on my car developed a problem. I told them the code and asked for a goodwill replacement. (It's a major known problem) they said no and charged me $250 for a diagnostic. Two attempts to ask for a service credit and absolutely no response.
Unprofessional, they never do everything on the list and its too expensive. They don't wash your car. One of the workers was very unhelpful, looked at me weird when I asked for help.Sarah and Dave are great.
Communication with the customer is awful. They kept our car for two days and not once did they call with updates. We called multiple times to find out what was going on. They didn’t even call to say it was ready.
