Whenever it seems like I drive past them or through any of their zones, it seems like all of them have no idea how to direct traffic. I’ve ran into this company about four times in the Fairfield County and each time that I’ve ran into them they have no idea how to run any sort of road signs. I don't know how these amatures keep winning city contracts. They were paving in front of our house last month and gave ZERO warning that leaving with our cars would not be an option for a large portions of the day. A massive problem with my wife home with our infant. On top of that the workers were just on our front lawn all the way up to our window marking the frass with paint without warning. Burns Construction, while acting as a subcontractor for Eversource and Aquarion Water Company, has repeatedly demonstrated a reckless disregard for private property rights, personal privacy, and clearly communicated access restrictions. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after dealing with a project for over three years, I feel compelled to share my experience. Burns Construction has been doing gas line work on our street for an incredibly long period of time, with what seems like an endless cycle of digging up the road, patching it, and then returning to do it all again. I had Burns Construction redo my asphalt driveway and I could not be happier with the result. The work is solid and clean, with a nice thick layer of asphalt and crisp edges that tie in nicely with my existing paver walkway. The crew was hardworking, clean and respectful the entire time, showed up ready to go. Their trucks and equipment were spotless and looked brand new, which says a lot about how they run things.
