I am so impressed with the men at Burnett’s. They are very professional and courteous. We take all our vehicles to them. They recently did work on my sons car and gave me a ballpark quote on the work. Because a certain part had to be bought in an entire kit instead of individually it would have raised that quote substantially. They did not transfer that cost to me. Such honesty and integrity is refreshing. And their work has always been excellent. I give them the highest rating.
These men did amazing work on an older vehicle that I love. They sourced the hard-to-get parts and solved a puzzle that I thought was going to be unsolvable! They're kind, patient and extremely helpful. Oh, and they do more than just transmissions. Truly recommend this shop to anyone. They are honest and will help find a fix or do a complete overhaul, whichever will solve the problem.
Going to the mechanic can be so daunting. I first took my car to another mechanic. The cost was far more than I could budget. I took the diagnosis with me to Burnett Transmission. They checked it, checked my car and explained where they disagreed. They literally showed me why they thought what they thought. Truly, they saved me so much money. They made me feel more comfortable and important, by showing me something I could fix all by myself! Thank you so much!
I had to take my car back and have it rebuilt twice and the speedometer gear never was taken care of and after another shop just went through it again found a module put in backwards.

Very please with Burnett transmissions. They got my truck done when they were busy. I was prepared for a lengthy wait but it was completed quickly and very well built.
These guys rock! I came in after 3 on a Friday afternoon. I thought I had a transmission issue (slipping/stuttering between 40- 60 mph), after getting zero help from another local repair shop. Steve diagnosed the general issue from just my explanation... likely a wire or coil. Diagnostics confirmed the number 5 coil was bad. Replacement coil was picked up from a local auto parts store.
