Today was my first day at burn boot Camp and lived it
An incredible program that pushes you hard, but is also incredibly supportive. All the staff actually want their members to reach their fitness goals, and it's beyond evident. I'd like to give Elizabeth Mair a personal shoutout. I am very new and she has been incredibly helpful, uplifting, encouraging, and helps me with my form without embarrassing me in front of the class. She physically gets on my level to block me off from the rest of the class to give gentle constructive criticism. She was made to be a trainer!
When my gym spontaneously closed, I genuinely believed I would never find a workout or gym climate I enjoyed that much ever again. After a month of sitting on the couch, I dragged my feet (kicking and screaming and whining) to Burn Pittsford and I've been hooked ever since. If my old gym reopened tomorrow, I would stay at Burn (sorry, old gym). The instructors are welcoming and encouraging, pushing me to go further and dig deeper.
