I've been here several times, and this place is straight out of the 1800s (I think). The building itself has been very well preserved, and the staff also seems to take very good care of it. I've worked with this center for years, and they never disappoint. We would stay here and walk to the water, and it was just amazing. Amazing, I tell you!
Hello, I recently had the pleasure of hosting two events at the Quaker Meeting House on High Street in Burlington, New Jersey, and I cannot recommend this venue enough! The location was great as there was plenty of on street parking in addition to the parking lot and accessible to the Riverline. The room was the perfect size for the event. Ms. Dee was very flexible and accommodating.
We recently stayed here (April '25) as a group of 38 for a class trip to Philadelphia. It was a wonderful home base, so many beds, great spacious kitchen, plenty of showers. We loved hearing about the local history from Dee. A few points to note... There's no linens so make sure you figure that out before your travels. You can't have items shipped there do to the location so that added to the tricky-ness, but we managed! Lovely spot, no issues.
The Burlington Quaker Meeting House and Conference Center is the ideal place to host your next event. I hosted my daughter's wedding reception there this year and we regularly use this venue to host our meetings and conferences for SisterHood Inc. The dining hall accommodates up to 120 guests and their state of the art commercial kitchen is amazing! I love that there are no restrictions on catering your event.
