Someone ran a red light last night crashing into a truck. They fled the scene and were followed by someone to get the license plate #. When the police arrived they said they don't go after hit and runs anymore although they located the suspect to retrieve insurance info. Since when is a hit and run ok in Burlington? I just want to share my interaction with officer Townsend. I told her what my problem was and she went to the car dealership and talked with those people. But for my fussing with the dealership they put back what they had taken out of my car. I just want to thank her for going to the dealership for me and advacating for me. I don't normally call the police but in this case I'm glad I did. Thank you Officer Townsend!!!
