Please read this .. my 22yr old VW won’t start,so i call RACQ technician he checks car and can’t find fault tells me has to be towed to RACQ dealer . I paid him cash because he said he had fixed my engine light on my car When the light came back on 2 weeks later he wouldn’t come to phone or call me back . I have been ripped off by this company.

If you are female, avoid this garage!! I had a horrible experience with Burleigh Miami Auto Centre. Not only did they massively overcharge us for a repair that took them two weeks to diagnose ($3000 more than our warranty company said it should have cost), they had a falling out with the warranty company in a dispute that had nothing to do with us, and dumped our car outside the garage unfixed so they could wash their hands with the warranty company. Absolutely shocking experience – DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE! Took my Ford Territory to Burleigh Miami Auto Centre on 2nd June after it broke down. Was told they’d look at it that day and not to worry about diagnostic costs. Two weeks later, the car was still not fixed - I had to chase for updates daily, and was given a constantly changing diagnosis. Eventually we were quoted $7,400 for a repair our warranty provider said should cost $4,460 (high pressure fuel pump replacement). When I questioned the price difference, they refuse... read more
