Our 2011 Hyundai i30 Auto started flashing up the engine light and only drive in 3rd gear. With a choice between a new $5k computer (the whole car cost is that much!) or a $1300 repair/refurbishment of the existing, we went for the latter. Car is going perfectly now. He also pointed out the guy who did a service for us previously didn't top up the transmission fluid so he sorted that too. Brilliant service and he understood our desire to keep costs as low as possible. Would highly recommend.

Our Ford Territory caused us great angst in late July with "Limp Home Mode" and Transmission Fault warnings. John dropped everything to diagnose the issue when we struggled the car to his repair centre, and after a test drive he expertly identified a computer electrical malfunction to be the problem and not the transmission which it was controlling.
