I can’t thank the team at Burkes Mechanical enough for their incredible service. From the moment I got in touch, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely committed to helping. They took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all my questions. They’re a really great bunch of guys, and I truly appreciate how helpful and professional they were throughout the whole experience. Even helped me find a flatbed truck when I couldn't find anyone,
Nice enough owner, got my out of a spot of bother when the water pipe on my Toyota hiace failed. $175 water pipe- $90 for the plastic latch that holds the seat up for engine access (this is a piece of plastic) $150 an hour plus gst on 3.5 hours to replace part, test and refill. All up $850 to replace the pipe, the plastic latch and parts etc. The pipe was definitely in a shit spot, giving three stars for how expensive they are, my normal mechanic charges $120 an hour. Took a friend's totally fine subaru outback in for a spark plug change after getting the car back we had to get someone else to do it as the car was still miss firing, next mechanic showed us how Burke's didnt change them all, the car hasn't run ever since its been sitting in back yard as a total loss after confronting Burke's they didnt want a barber of it they stuffed my friends car and she hasn't had reliable transport ever since then and being a disability worker Burke's should be ashamed.not only should they replace my ... read more
