Please be warned and I advise you that if you are going to stay here make sure that you stay out in the back motel rooms and NOT in the hotel rooms itself. The first room was definitely NOT upto scratch with dust and dirt everywhere not to mention torn carpet and missing skirting boards. We had to move to a second room due to a blocked toilet, well the second room was NO better. Again, old dirty torn carpet and dirt and dust everywhere not to mention missing skirting boards. A lovely pub hotel with real character.The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. no loud music ,Our room was with white sheets and comfortable, making it a perfect place to stay and eat at reasonable Price ,Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good Country side Food and Accommodation.
honestly i wish i could rate it a 0 if i could. took nearly an hour to get four very simple and easy meals. went up and looked in their desserts display and there was mould on the jelly, that must have been sitting there for a while for it to get like that and they did not even notice it and me and my family came back a few weeks later and same thing mouldy desserts. this is absolutely disgusting. someone could get really sick if they didn’t notice that. im extremely upset, this pub used to be amazing until they got new owne... read more
