Great location but rude, unfriendly and arrogant staff and not what I expected from a friendly place like Yarrawonga. I won't be going back.

Dire. No one in the joint, closed by 8pm.
To start. Get your butt here for a feed. Spent 3 days here and eat in each night. Day 1, lambs fry. Yummy yummy in my tummy. Best I have had on a looooong time. Day 2, bangers and mash. Also very yummy yummy in my tummy. Bankers were perfect and so tasty. Day 3. Lasagne which was good. A little dry but could not eat it all. Great value for money. COME GET SOME. Yarrawonga boasts many good eateries but for the best pub food, Burkes is unbeatable. Friendly and attentive staff and an outstanding menu. Every option. From a Burkes burger to Grilled Barramundi, Salt and pepper Calamari Salad and lots more. A full kids menu. I chose an old favourite. Bangers n Mash $19). Three plump delicious sausages floating on a bed of creamy mashed potato and smothered with dark gravy with a sprinkle of chives. A bargain from Chef Jessy who is a master. 5 stars
