Avoid this Burke Rehabilitation on the 6th floor. At all cost if you love yourself and your love ones. The therapist there are lousy don’t set up plan for the patient to improve. In particular Ardyth Behn(physical therapist) that was assigned to my mother she did nothing to improve my mother’s walking. She didn’t do stretches with the patient and didn’t use walking ramp with patient to improve walking. I had a disappointing experience with. Throughout our interactions, I encountered unprofessional behavior and a complete lack of accountability. Communication was consistently poor, with delayed responses and a failure to follow up on important issues. I had to keep chasing them down. Disappointing and Frustrating Experience. I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with Burke Rehabilitation in the Bronx. I called on Thursday, September 26th, and was told to fax in my referral, which I did the same day. The representative I spoke to told me to wait until Monday for verification with the insurance company. However, when I called back on Monday, a different representative told me to wait another week. The physical therapist are great, but the two individuals in the front desk which are Melissa and Schedule manager; they are unprofessional. Both of them have unpleasant attitude, solipsistic, and hedonistic about themselves. I was asking the Schedule manager to make it Wednesday and Fridays, but she decided for herself that it's not beneficial because she FEELS like it.
Pros Great place very nice staff that would help from the front desk to the PT"s Cons the co payments could be a little expensive for one visit
