12 weeks pregnant and needed a root canal. I couldnât take much for the pain. I was in tears when I called, they got me in the same day (with in 2 hours to be exact). It was a stretch to get me numb because I cannot have anesthesia with epinephrine because of the pregnancy, plus my tooth/nerve was incredibly inflamed as I had to wait as long as possible/second trimester for safety- giving plenty of time for an infection to brew. I was super nervous ð Dr Tamalaâs staff took great care of me!
Dr Tomala was patient to explain everything so I could make informed decision. Diagnosis of problem seemed spot on. Expert with the needle. Quick recovery, NO PAIN, NO SWELLING, NO BRUISING after procedure. That said, a root canal is stressful and exhausting, but Dr. Tomala and Katya were a great, efficient, attentive team!
I had a very good experience with a root canal. One can not say that very often. The dr was gentle and talked me through it with pertinent information. I was very pleased. The staff was lovely too. Debbie

This is the second time that I have been to this office, and both times I have had a great experience. Starting with the staff, receptionist , Martha, she was so polite and professional. The doctors assistant was equally as polite and made sure I was comfortable at all times. The doctor is top notch and explained what his goal was for my treatment during and after the procedure. I was referred to Dr. Tomala by my dentist concerning the roots of a tooth. Due to the location, I was bracing for some really painful shots. First shot, no pain, then waited for the THE pain to come. As he drilled through the cap to the root....no pain. Whew, I was definitely in good hands!! Throughout the initial appointment and the entire process, I can honestly say that I have complete confidence in Dr. Tomala and his skills. I highly recommend Burien Endodontics.
