I personally didn't find his narrative therapy approach much help for marriage counselling. He's a very warm and likeable therapist, but given his narrative approach, he didn't offer much in terms of feedback. Great if you need a good listener, but this didn't help us much. We could have just fought about our issues at home, and saved the drive. I personally think marriage counselling is pretty tough to begin with, but I left feeling much worse than when I walked in.
