These inspectors are not trained. Each inspector “interprets” the code in their own way. There is no standard for inspections. It seems like it’s at the discretion of the inspector, hopefully they aren’t in a bad mood that day or they fail you for something that’s not code. They waste contractors time by having them go back out just because the inspector thinks the code means something different. They know very little about what they do. I don’t understand why cities are contracting them for their inspections. 0 stars
