Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at this blood donation center location. Despite our busy schedules, we made time to come and donate blood to support the community. The only request we had was for me to provide emotional support to my friend, who has a strong needle phobia, by holding his hand during the procedure. However, the staff member and their supervisor informed us that I was only allowed to hold his hand “through the wall” and could not stand beside him.
