An absolute disaster. There isn't a real healthcare professional on site. After my platelet donation today the Phlebotomist tells me to stay longer as there was a rip in the bag and blood leaked into the machine. Due to this, I might have air in my bloodstream which is fatal. She calls the Medical Director who won't talk to me or explain the situation. Can you imagine? They use volunteers to staff the front desk. The kid was clueless and disconnected. Not a great first point of contact when you are stressed because you are about to be poked. The blood drawing staff were nice and fast. Lastly, I never got my gift card. It seems like they are keeping them for themselves after you donate. Won’t go back.
Everything is good for me at Costco
So easy to donate blood and platelets here. They have a lot of movies and shows to watch, as well as warm blankets and nice pillows to hold your armas in position when donating platelets.
