This is the Worst gym ever! I've been to Crunch, Ballys, and 24 hr fitness but this place is the worst! Poor customer service. No one there is ever friendly, it's over crowded and when I tried to cancel they sent me back and forth from gym to corporate office and back again. They charged me hidden fees they never told me about when I signed up. Then one day the gym just closed. No notice to members. No phone call or email or letter. Just there one day and gone the next. New and Improved! – This location has been totally revamped with new machines and a much cleaner environment. The staff people are warm and friendly, and it's the best deal out there. My daughter and I signed up last week after a 3-day pass and we love it! We hardly ever have a problem getting on the machines because of overcrowding. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
No longer World now BAC First, These clubs are no longer World Gyms!! They were sold over two years ago. New owner has done a good job making both clubs user friendly with lots of classes including spinning and Kick Boxing, Up to date Cardio equipment with TVs TOO!! The NEW name is Burbank Athletic Club not Worlds Gym. If you live in the area you owe to yourself to check it out, Both clubs have Trainers on staff,.
Old and dirty – What a horrible place, I haven't seen anything like that. First of all it's small and there are no fans. The place is dirty and they have cockroaches. The only reason I signed up there is because it so close to my work otherwise I would never go there. The place is not busy because it's so bad there that nobody wants to sign up.
All the Health I need – The big health club thing is just not for me or my family, I hate to think about who has been sweating all over some equipment etc. Burbank Athletic is a place for me and my family to go and feel safe and know we can ask questions, My son plays football at Burroughs and alot of his buddys had joined here so it worked out well for him. Great place to workout! Clean with no crouds. – Lots of functional equipment which is well maintained. It has all the basics and then some. This club is not a big social scene, its all about getting in shape!
