I have a chronic fear of the dentist all of my life (66 years). I have to say Dr Tony and the team at Bupa Dental Toowoomba have been exceptional. I would highly recommend them to anyone who may be fearful, they will take good care of you, just tell them how you are feeling, they will do all they can to help.
I was a regular patient at Bupa Dental Toowoomba. However, the recent experience was disappointing. In early 2025, my partner saw a dentist there about his wisdom teeth. The dentist said that all four could be removed at the clinic without general anaesthetic and that antibiotics were only needed if an infection developed. A complete disaster. I booked a tooth extraction more than a month in advance. For two weeks before the appointment, I was bombarded daily with confirmation messages, clearly to make sure I didn’t miss it. Then, just three hours before the procedure, I received a call informing me it was cancelled and rescheduled for the next day. No explanation, no apology — just a new time, as if rescheduling surgery was a minor detail. Very very happy with my Appointment today with Dr. Niels, the process went very well and Dr. Niels was very thorough with explaining everything he was going to do today before he began. He also made sure I was doing okay throughout, which had me feeling calm and relaxed the entire time. Dr. Niels also made sure I was aware of any further treatment and was thoughtful with taking my concerns into consideration.
