Every time I am in or near Lincoln, I have to visit Bunty's Tea Room. The first time I came here was when my wife was in Lincoln County Hospital and this cosy little place was within walking distance. The scones are to die for, but it is the lovely staff and the atmosphere which make this place so special.
Excellent cafe in the heart of historic Lincoln. We stopped on the way down Steep Hill. Forties themed with quirky, vintage decor and staff in period clothing. We enjoyed the plum bread with cheese and chutney and a huge pot of tea for two. Highly recommended for great service, an excellent lunch and morning coffee menu and wonderful atmosphere.
