Bunnings Chadstone cancelled my HandyHire van rental at 10:30 am for a 2 pm collection, providing nothing more than a brief email. There was no phone call and no offer to help secure an alternative. This Bunnings has officially taken the gold star for the shittiest Bunnings and worst service I’ve dealt with. Went in to exchange a spray pack that was missing the handle. Simple enough. The item had been purchased that day and I had the digital receipt to prove it. First, I stood around for about 10 minutes waiting to be served. I explained to the cashier it usually takes a few attempts to scan the bar code on the metal external angles I was buying, but was ignored. He couldn't read it to do it manually..another staff member comes over and I again explain it takes a few attempts, was ignored again, she gives up after one attempt, then puts it in manually, meanwhile bending up my angles in the process, so now I'm not sure they'll even be useable.
