Was referred for a bone scan. Filled out the paperwork and the tech informed me as I had circled YES I no longer have a period I would have to pay $110. She said it was a Medicare form and it was the questions that decide on payment. Not that I am under 70 years of age, just I haven't had a period. She said that it was 44 and a half, whatever that was. This stinks of discrimination. I am not impressed.
Went in the other day to get an ultrasound for my pregnancy I asked ultrasound tec of this would include translucency scan as thats what I was told by my doctor. That was the gestation I was in I was told by the ultrasound tech that I was way too early (found out by my midwife this is not correct) as I’m 12 weeks and 2 days this was also confirmed by the receptionist who I found personally to be extremely rude as I was explaining what happened as I was confused and was asking if I can use that scan as my translucency scan. t... read more
Such a pleasant experience to make my appointments for CT injections at Bundaberg Radiology (at the Mater) I called and spoke to the receptionist I then emailed my referrals, she promptly called me back and booked in the earliest times. I'm looking forward to being hopefully pain free soon. EDIT 31/12 - After 2 injections over the past 2 weeks by CT and today by ultrasound I have nothing but praise for the Dr and staff who were prompt and gentle.
