An appalling Emergency Department experience On 19 October 2026, I attended Bunbury Regional Hospital Emergency Department at approximately 10.45 am with excruciating right shoulder pain, swelling, burning sensations and severely restricted movement. I left at approximately 6.10 pm, seven hours and twenty five minutes later, in tears and in worse pain than when I arrived. I just wanted to give a massive shout-out to Dr Jason and staff in the Emergency Department last night! It was very busy and we waited a long time (FYI apparently Mondays are always busy!), but Dr Jason was SO LOVELY with my daughter and considered her situation carefully without trying to rush us through. Big respect to you all, thank you. 🙏🏻

18 September 2026 around 7:30pm At Bunbury ED is a nightmare for me and my family especially my daughter because I took my daughter Who is suffering from a bad constipation and she can’t do pee and has a really bad pain on her peeing area but she suffered three hours in ED floor but staff don’t care the nurse didn’t give her anything for pain relief or ask about her pain I think the staff member are blind deaf heartless slow to figure out Who need more help or need a pain relief things we can wait. These "professionals" were meant to refer my friend to a cardiologist and did not. I was there and witnessed it. They did not do that. He had a heart attack. Bunbury regional kills people
