There is an older guy that works behind the counter in Bumper to Bumper in Minden La. He speaks slow; walks slow, and just plain old move slow. But he is a great guy that will help you every step of the way. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty to assist me and my wife and we really admire him. Don't be mislead because of his age and appearance, this is one of the best customer representatives in the world in our opinion. While this store may not have the larger staff and operating budget of the chains, this is the place to go when a high degree of knowledge is required or if you are looking for a special item for perhaps an old farm stationary engine. The hours are not as good as the chains, but Bumper to Bumper has services that cannot be found elsewhere.
