This place has potential, but is set back by corrupt nepotism ridden management, underpaid, untrained and burnt out caregivers, Med-techs that sleep on the job and residents/family members being given false promises or straight up lied to and serious issues with the quality of residents’ living spaces were handled poorly.
if I could give this place less than one star, I would, I was a new hire at this facility mind you I’ve worked a lot of facilities i’ve been caregiving for 5 years and i absolutely love caregiving with all my heart, and this one has by far mistreated its employees to the fullest. Gemstone has been the best assisted living community I’ve worked at when it comes to consistency, quality of care and the overall morale among both employees and residents. The food is always good and the meal services are organized and conducted far more smoothly than other places I’ve been to and the call lights are always answered promptly. My time that I have spent working at Bali has been a very fulfilling journey. I have been able to grow in my role while working here they have given me the opportunity to live to my potential. Our residents make this feel more than just a job, this is family.
