Bullock's BBQ - Bullock's BBQ has been a family owned and operated fixture in Durham, NC since 1952. Glen Bullock started offering his delicious BBQ in the 1940's, cooking pigs on the weekends for friends and neighbors. Eventually people wanted more so they had to grow. The food arrived at the table, quantity but quality wasn't there, very under seasoned. I ordered baby back ribs that were precooked, the seating 90% white in the front everybody else rear so unhappy

No-nonsense authentic (as best I can tell) NC-style barbecue. Cash only.
No beer. No milkshakes. No people from the 21st century.
The food was pretty good. The baked potatoes was cold and they don't accept plastic. By not accepting plastic it cuts down on the tips added on at the cash register. We had to use old time cash dollars...really Yes I will go back again. Their banana pudding is to die for.
