Bullock's BBQ - Bullock's BBQ has been a family owned and operated fixture in Durham, NC since 1952. Glen Bullock started offering his delicious BBQ in the 1940's, cooking pigs on the weekends for friends and neighbors. Eventually people wanted more so they had to grow. Ordered 2 #8 combos with white meat chicken, got home and the only thing in our plates were bbq, at a price of $31.00 he should be able to hire someone who can read a ticket, that was the most expensive bbq I have ever had, Will NEVER visit this place again, I'll drive the distance and go to Smithfield's chicken n bbq where you at least get what you pay for and not get ripped off with just a hand full of bbq.

The B Q is great and fried chicken is wonderful but their vegetables are dried out and not like they use to be. My husband and I went when they first opened at 11:30 am ...The Brunswick stew is nothing like it use to be when Mr Bullock was living... it has changed it is darker than it use to be...and the taste is different.. meats are good but needs improvement on vegetables... we got deviled eggs, corn, turnip greens and mc in cheese, Slaw was great. 7/21/20
Just had lunch and it was very good. 2 Maryland style crab cakes, collards, cole slaw, and brunswick stew with the best hushpuppies.

We were there last wed and the older waitress was very rude and the brisket was nothing but fat covered in BBQ sauce. When I asked about the brisket the waitress give me a "huh" remark and walked off. She NEVER refilled our drinks and was crappy when I asked for vinegar for the 2nd time. We've been to Bullock's 4 times now and the last 2 we're bad experiences. The BBQ is delicious but that's about all. We will not go back again.
Every visit has always been Great....The Best Home Made Food and Desserts There Is!...Always an Abundance...Great Service...And Absolutely Love The Owners!.♥️
