Awsome Food and Great Price and Atmosphere – We had a great meal and a great time at the Bulldog during the Big 12 Tournement. This is a little ways down the street from the Sprint Center, about 3 blocks, but it wasn't completely crowded and the people were mostly locals and it was a very friendly place with a good vibe. The service was great and the prices were too. I had the chicken madiera, which was awsome, and my wife had some kind of ciabbatta sandwich which she loved. We recommend this place highly.
Good food and service – Was there on a Wednesday night, the restaurant side was pretty slow. Several people in the bar area. Service was prompt throughout the meal. Only knock I had was the waiter really had no suggestions for a good martini, after telling us it was $4 martini night. After we picked one the service was prompt, water glasses were full throughout the meal, each course was delivered very well timed. We had the hummus appetizer and it was great, very good flavor and a large portion size. Would have easily worked... read more
Worst Place I've been in years!! – Took a group of 11 to the Bulldog on a Sunday evening. The place was relatively empty so we were expecting at least decent service. We arrived and had a couple of drinks at the bar then proceeded to be seated. We ordered another round of drinks, waited 15 minutes and they arrived. Once ready to order we learned a couple of things.....First, they only had two Ribeyes left in the cooler, second the waitress didn't know the menu. We ordered a variety of items, inlcuding salads and appetizers. ... read more
Great food - service OK – I've been going to Bulldog for nearly 4 years for their good food and classy vibe. Bulldog has one of the best French dip sandwiches in town and my wife LOVES Uncle Bill's mini cheeseburgers. They have excellent fries as well - not frozen. Sometimes the service is unreliable, but OK if you are not in a hurry. Thankfully, they did away with having a live rock band there on the weekends, so it is a nice place to go for a quiet glass of wine after a concert or the theater.
Terrible, enough said. – Despite my daily trips to area restaruants this is the first time I've been inspired to write a review. Let me start by saying the food gets a B- at best. Atmosphere is very typical nothing special. Took over 45 minutes for a sandwich and never once had a refill on drinks. Yes this was noon on a week day, but no one else in the area seems to be as apparently overwhelmed. Probably to worst aspect of this gem was the female manager who took it upon herself to come over not apologize for the delay, but ... read more
The Dog looks friendlier than the waitstaff is... – The food is rather good, the drinks are as good as most places with average prices, the atmosphere is very nice. One slight problem is that the music is always a little too loud. There is usually one man playing piano and singing. He looks ratty and is less than pleasant to listen to, but there is, at other times, a band or other guest artist which are usually pretty good. The service, however has always been terrible. I was looking for a new dive and have been there 6 time... read more
This Bar has Bite! – The bulldog has a little something for everybody. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is top notch. With two different bars, a dining room and live music, nobody can be unhappy. Excellent drink menu.
Great Food in Crossroads – The menu is broad enough to cover most tastes. Everything is good (be sure to ask for the special house mustard for sandwiches). Appetizers are enough for two. Classic cocktails evoke the '30s. Friendly, efficient staff. A new lunch spot for downtown or Crowne center workers.
