I am glad I found them When we adopted a wild kitten it was not walking straight. We were trying to treat it at home for ear mites. After a week and a half a sore had developed on his head like he had gotten shot with a pellet gun. I knew it had gotten beyond what I could do so I got in the car and started driving looking for a vet. Not being that familiar with the area I drove around and then found Bullard. They knew what was wrong as soon as they saw him. A wolf worm was growing under his skin on his head! Yuck. They remov... read more
They care about your animal. Bullard has been in the community for a long time and has built quite a reputation. They have several doctors that really care about your pet. They are great for the basic services, but in an emergency they care about you as much as your pet. Be sure and call early to reserve boarding space as they are usually full at peak times. PROS: Good doctors, loving staff, convenient CONS: Very busy, close from noon to 2:00 daily
Dr. Jessie Hopkins I moved to GA from Ct with 4 dogs and needed to find a vet I could trust I went to one and didn't like the way they handled my pomerian. then my coworker told me about Dr. Bullards so I got an appointment with Jessie Hopkins there I can't say enough about her. she spent extra time with us explaining everthing. recently we had to put 1 of the dogs down due to an illness and I was crying Jessie hugged me and comforted me she let us spend as much time with Hannah and didn't rush us to have it done . Jessie is... read more
They are the BEST My little one yr old 'Jax' leaped over my arm as I was reaching down to pick up a delivered package while opening the front door. She's never done this before as she knows better and because normally my big ole' Lab dog was always in the way when they greated me after coming home from work. Jax leaped out to go play with the dog across the street and got hit by a car (the driver wasn't even concerned enough to stop) and Jax got his front legs pretty well torn up. I'm rather new to the Austell area and thank... read more
Never Again I will never take my dog here again. I brought my puppy here to get spayed and I was very nervous to begin with... there was something that didn't sit right with me about this place. At noon I called to check up on her and see how her surgery went and they were so rude to me. The woman didn't even ask the name of my dog, she just told me she is probably fine; if there was a problem they would have called me. She acted like I was a nuisance of some sort rather than a caring pet owner who was worried about her dog.... read more
Very nice place for your animals I have two huge cats. They've received every single vaccine and care for 5 years in a row. Not only the place is good, but they offer affordable prices and great care for your furry friends. I've had the opportunity to meet every Dr. there and I already know who to ask for when I visit the clinic. Dr. Aiken is awesome with cats, and he will have a good chemistry even with the most sensitive animal. The clinic is clean but running small. I believe a expansion-renovation will be a plus.
average to not-so-good experience ive taken my dog there due to location but it is ALWAYS crowded and actually the girls at the front desk have not been overly friendly. i also dont like how instead of giving shots, etc to your dog while you are there, they take them and do most things out back. my dog whom is very attached to me, was already very scared and then i couldn't be with her to have her nails clipped (which they brought her back with nails bleeding all over the floor) or her shots given.
Emergency trip When my former Basset puppy was spayed, she wound up with her incision bursting and becoming infected. During off hours for my regular vet, I was directed to this location for emergencies. When I arrived they were attentive, gentle and straightforward. It was a bit pricy, but the care was evident. I would certainly go back for emergencies with any other pets.
Bullard Gary Dvm - Bullard Animal Hospital is the best. When I was a little girl, my parents always took our family pets to Dr. Bullard for everything from checkups to boarding during our family vacations. Now that I am a mother of two boys with family pets, I still drive from Douglasville to Austell to take my pets to Dr. Bullard's office. The doctors at this office care about your pets and about you. I wouldn't trust the care of my pets to anyone else.
