I went to the ER in the middle of the night and was told they didn’t have the means to do anything beyond get my blood pressure until the morning staff arrived at 8am. I needed an ultrasound to figure out what was wrong and they told me to come back in a few days after the long weekend, and then tried to tell me to take antibiotics and Tylenol in the meantime without knowing what’s wrong (even though I’m breastfeeding a newborn). Fantastic experience dealing with staff in various departments (admission, lab, pre-op, day surgery and post op) during my short stay. Everyone was extremely kind, attentive and respectful. Thank you so much.
This is not aimed at the hospital staff as they have been great.My complaint is about Dr xhao,ear,nose,mouth specialist.Waited 3/4 of a year for my appointment only to be treated by an irritated sullen doctor with better places to be.Guy couldn’t care less.Zero people skills
Went into the er multiple times and they said there was nothing they could do. Three days waiting all day to be sent away. I went to burns lake er and they helped with all my concerns and needs.
Travelled from PG for surgery. Staff was very pleasant. RN's, doctor had fantastic bedside manner and were very attentive & accomodating. Great job Bulkley Valley District Hospital!
