I went to the ER in the middle of the night and was told they didn’t have the means to do anything beyond get my blood pressure until the morning staff arrived at 8am. I needed an ultrasound to figure out what was wrong and they told me to come back in a few days after the long weekend, and then tried to tell me to take antibiotics and Tylenol in the meantime without knowing what’s wrong (even though I’m breastfeeding a newborn).
