Awful experience with Rich Volpe. He stopped responding after he received the deposit. Posting this publicly to warn others so you won’t be scammed like we were. So embarrassed that we believed him and his multitude of lies. There are so many other contractors that are honest and hardworking. He is NOT one either of those.
From designing deck and sunroom, Rick was knowledgeable and responsive. Project was on time and we love our living spaces. We had Rick replace every window and front door to our home after that. Outstanding!
We hired Rick to do our front deck and double stairway to our back door back in 2014. He had his nephew I believe do the work. It's been 8 years, we've had to replace every piece of wood because it was warped and/or rotten to the point of being able to put your finger through it. The screws are rusted, so not galvanized steel I'm guessing. There is no way that every piece of wood should be like this after only 8 years.
