My husband called multiple times on different days to inquire about the available apartments, and after listening in on every one of those conversations, I am honestly shocked at how terrible the leasing team is. Extremely disappointed with the unresponsive leasing staff and lack of urgency shown by all building managers and staff. Extremely poor move out experience — beware of hidden fees.
BLT corporate management continuously turns off the cooling towers to save themselves money on costs so hundreds of people at a time have no air conditioning. 80° temperatures in the apartments, 90° temperatures in the apartments. Whole buildings of apartments have no air conditioning for days and weeks at a time. We have to call city officials and state officials to force BLT to turn the towers back on. If you want to move here, buy some fans and expect some bullshit.
I’ve honestly never felt worse about an apartment company before. My experience with BLT left me feeling really uneasy. A few months back, I had an encounter that really stuck with me in a negative way. I tried to brush it off at first, but it continued to bother me enough that I feel like I need to say something. I strongly recommend looking for apartments literally anywhere else but here. My experience with the staff was extremely disappointing they were consistently rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. Basic questions were met with attitude, and it felt like they had no interest in addressing concerns or providing decent customer service. Save yourself the frustration and take your business somewhere that actually values your time.
