I've worked with Builder Finance for years. They are honest, dependable, and really understand their business. Korey and Mike have been my points of contact over the years and I can’t say enough good things about either of them. They’re experienced, friendly, and down to earth – just overall good people. It’s a pleasure to do business with them.
Known them for over a decade. Other lenders have come and gone. BFI is reliable and thoughtful. Big things done right like 1-click draws off phone. Smaller things like love that pull 1 bureau not 3. If need to talk to someone service is great - smart people who get it pickup. They do take seriously appraisals so if it flags something or provides lazy comps the experience can deteriorate.
UPDATE REVIEW: I received a phone call from an individual who identified himself as someone in charge (Michael) who stated he was an attorney and a former prosecutor for what reason I have absolutely no idea because it did not pertain to anything in my dispute. He then offered me a refund of my $1500 but only if I would remove this review reflecting my experience and sign a non-disparagement agreement. Dan Kolbe at Builder Finance has been the most on point person in the builder lending world that we have worked with. He helped design a great custom program that fit for our team and then has remarkable follow up and follow through on the execution. I simply can not say enough and highly recommend that any builder seeking financing reach out and ask for Dan.
Our deal didn't end up working out because of some items outside of BFI's control, but Emma was great with answering questions I had. For sure coming back on the next one!
