First, we are NOT first time homeowners and have owned a Perry and David Weekley home in the past. These builders all use the same trades. What we loved about Coventry was the floor plan and the Sales Person. Matt was one of the only salesmen to listen to what we needed. He wasn't just pushing a sale. He was helping us through a new chapter. The builder was friendly and the few small issues we found were taken care of. We love our Coventry Home!
I have contacted the warranty department nearly 10 times over the past 3 months, yet no one has come to inspect or resolve these issues. Each time I call, I am told someone will follow up or that a manager will get involved, but nothing ever happens. Text messages go unanswered, and there has been absolutely no follow-through. When I reported the towel rack falling off the wall, I was told the warranty does not cover it. If the builder is not responsible, then who is responsible for the quality of the installation? Believe the negative reviews. The homes are highly priced, but the build quality is far below expectations. After submitting a warranty request, it is extremely difficult to get in contact with anyone. When communication does happen, it is often informal and unprofessional, typically through text messages that go unanswered after your response. I am not sure who runs this location but Public information show the CEO is a Canadian home builder named Henri Rodier. They are constantly sending me unsolicited communications after somehow getting ahold of my email address. Despite my previous requests to be removed from their mailing list and for all contact to cease, I continue to receive persistent emails from these people harassing me.
