I hired Roy Vanderpool to install a fence, we agreed on a price and he delivered. He was to install an additional eight, eight foot sections for the same price. Roy had to take the panels to his shop to make them straight or replace them with some he had at the shop. It's been 3 months now, Roy won't return my fence nor will he answer my calls. He is a CROOK. Don't give him any money in advance or allow him to take anything away with him. Really bad news.
We contracted with Roy Vanderpool of Build Gates and Fences in early December, 2018. He was to build a 6 foot wooden cap & trim fence around our back yard. The 2 gates were to be decorative ironwork. In addition, he loaded & took with him my two antique large metal wagon wheels which he agreed to incorporate into a swing frame. Poor work ethic, won't stand behind his work, will not return phone calls or texts. Any good reviews you've seen about this business have to be fake. Don't make the mistake of hiring this guy you will regret it.
Roy Vanderpool is such a scammer. He ran away with our money. He started asking for a downpayment from us and he bought us a peice of scrap wood materials. After 1 day of work, he started playing hide and seek. He did not return our phone calls or texts. He blocked us on any messaging. He keep all the money. Roy Vanderpool scammed us. We hired him to build a sunroom. He asked for an upfront payment, started on the project and left. We are unable to contact him and he will not return our calls. He also started on the project without a building permit. We had to get the permit for him and also pay for his penalty fee. We had an inspector to review his work. His work, unfinished, was not built to code and needs to be torn down. All his good reviews must be fake, and I was wrong to trust those. Unprofessional to vanish and run away.... read more
Build Gates has worked on many projects for me including installing an iron gate, aluminum fence, and repaired wood fence at my properties. They also braced handrails and wood decking on a cliff. I use them for all my fencing needs. Quality work, dependable, and very friendly. Highly recommend.
Just use this company this week and this company does top quality work and top quality wood. I would never use the known local fence companies again. The owner cares about his employees and it shows and the work is surperb!. They get the job done quickly and doesn't jack the price up like big known fence companies. Before you use the other guys, give this company a call you will not regret it. They do iron, wood, chain link, etc!
This Company just completed a beautiful wooden fence around our property. The fence faces a golf course so it had to be "exceptional". It is exceptional. Beautiful to look at from our back patio and from the golf course.
