I love this market. It's gives you a chance to try all varieties of veggies from all over the world. Wee walked for two hours and still didn't manage to take it all in. I will be going bsck and taking friends. Thank you Buford Hwy Farmers Market
I doubt it would pass inspection today. The dead crab and fish smell was enough to make you throw up. They have sushi, rice with pork rolls, On the table not refrigerated for sale. Clean up the fish market please. I drive a ways to get here and was so disappointed today. I'll go to a different store next time. There are two down the road that will get my business from now on. Too bad!
My husband and I are from Louisiana and were so excited to see that they carry blue crabs. We noticed dead crabs and a foul odor coming from the crab trough. We thought if we picked live crabs we could rinse them off well once we got home and be fine. We added lots of seasoning, veggies, and shrimp to our boil. Once we were done cooking we cracked open a few crabs and noticed the same foul odor coming from the crabs as was in the store. I go once or twice a month, excellent selection and abundance of fresh produce from all over the world, great wild fish selection, super variety of asian items, a Philippines aisle and freezer, European deli, many items from around the world which are not available in most area stores, I fully recommend them, especially the Asian deli.
We love it from Japanese Chinese or Mexican and all the great stuff we try. We come all the way from Millbrook Alabama. We always make a day of it. Also the wonderful meat Dept.
