If you’re looking to build a home, stay away from Buffington Homes. Tim from Buffington Homes here in the San Marcos area talked about how great they are and when a noticeable issue came up, they did nothing to fix it. Buffington got paid, the contractors got paid, and we got a poorly done interior paint job. Although our issues was never corrected, the new company that has taken over did a much better job trying to fix it. If you’re looking to build, remember Buffington Homes in general and Tim in the San Marcos area.
Word among realtors is that Buffington started pulling and cancelling contracts entered into over 6 months ago and the only reasons they gave is because they sold to LGI...shady builder
