My personal experience residing with Buffalo Management Group was traumatic, unsafe, and uncomfortable. I resided with Buffalo management group from Feb, 2023 - Jan 2026. I needed the apartment as a graduate student while being employed full-time, as it was the location closest to the surrounding campuses and my place of work. I just have to say, I have lived here (The Mayflower) for less than a year, and this place is by far the best managed place I've ever lived. The response time, and proficiency of the maintenance guys are immediate! I used to live in some beautiful buildings in DC, and they took forever to get something done. I can put a maintenance request in, and within a short time, they're here, and it's done. The shortest response time was an hour, and the longest was the next working morning. I was just contacted by a staff member of Buffalo Management Group about an income based apartments they had for lease. The women on the phone imediately asked me my credit score and I asked her why she needed it. She stated she had to have it before she could show me an apartment. I then told her I didn't know. She then states call back when you figure it out. She also stated that she needed to see proof of my income because rent qualifications states you must have income 3 times of the amount of base rent . HUH? Am I missi... read more
I rented from Buffalo Management Group for 3 years. It was an excellent experience. If I ever moved back to the city, I would definitely rent from them again.
The most unprofessional group to work with. I understand it's the "busy" season for rentals, but when you employ people who just ignore texts, ignore emails, and ignore calls is ridiculous.
