We were looking forward to a weekend getaway with friends then the Coronavirus happened. We are currently on a "stay in place" order from Governor Dewine. We called to request a refund, they said no. Only if they can rebook the cabin will they issue a partial refund. We are on a "stay in place" order, who is going to book a 22 person cabin right now. Great company to work with! Beautiful properties and helpful staff.
Unfortunately our hot tub would not function our first night. I was told my office staff that no credits can be made based on their policy. After two phone calls to the owner I still did not receive a return call, an apology, or any credit. This is bad business practice and I will not return to a place that cannot make it right.
Business response:
The guest called shortly after check in to report that the hot tub was not heated to full temperature. We sent a maintenance person out within 30 minutes to find that the hot tub was heating but in economy mode which prevents it from heating past a mild temperature. The setting was easily fixed and the tub would have been useable within a few hours. Our policy also indicates that we do not give refunds for equipment malfunction. We stayed at the property for 2 nights along with a group of friends and family. We took extremely good care of the property during our entire stay. Right after we left we were slapped with a charge of $1045 for causing damages to the property. They did not substantiate that any damage was caused by us. The scratches on the floor were shown to us as a example of the damage caused. There is no clear proof that we caused those scratches, also I do not understand how the floors can be scratched so easily. Extremely bad company ... read more
